Master Ocean provides practical consultations on yacht repairs, maintenance and refit planning. You speak with our own specialists who have hands-on experience in yacht repair and maintenance. We also carry out repair work with our own team, with mobile repair teams available across Europe by prior arrangement.

A consultation helps clarify the reported problem, identify the information needed for an assessment and plan the next steps. We review your description, photographs, equipment details and available maintenance history. Where an onboard inspection or further diagnostics are needed, we explain what should be checked before the repair scope can be confirmed.

We can discuss mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing and climate-control problems, as well as hull, deck and interior repairs. Whether you are dealing with a specific fault or preparing a wider refit, we help identify priorities, dependencies and the work that may need to be completed together.

Our specialists explain possible repair approaches, component replacement options and practical considerations affecting access, parts availability and scheduling. Where relevant, we assess whether work can be carried out at the berth or requires a shipyard, haul-out or workshop facilities. Access and working arrangements are agreed before any onsite intervention.

The consultation can help establish a preliminary scope and the information required to prepare a quotation. Any initial cost or time estimate depends on the available information and may need to be revised after inspection, diagnostics or dismantling. We discuss these limitations so you can plan with a clear understanding of what has been established and what remains to be checked.

If you decide to proceed with repairs, we prepare a quotation and agree the scope, materials, parts and schedule before starting. All repair work undertaken by Master Ocean is carried out by our own experienced technicians. Additional work and costs are submitted for approval before proceeding.

Consultations can begin remotely using the information you provide. Onboard assessments can be arranged across Europe, subject to scheduling and access. The consultation format, scope and any applicable fees are agreed in advance.
