Sailing Yacht Rigging & Mast Service

Master Ocean inspects, maintains and repairs sailing yacht rigging, masts and associated deck hardware. All work is carried out by our own technicians with practical experience in yacht repair and maintenance. Our mobile repair teams travel to your yacht across Europe by prior arrangement, working at its berth or in a shipyard, with access and working conditions agreed in advance.

Our services cover standing and running rigging, including shrouds, stays, halyards, sheets and their fittings. We inspect accessible components for wear, corrosion, damage and signs of deterioration, identify items requiring attention and agree the necessary maintenance or replacement work with you.

We service mast and boom fittings, sheaves, blocks, rope clutches, winches and furling systems. Depending on the installation and the agreed scope, work may include replacing worn lines and fittings, servicing moving components, adjusting rigging tension and checking mast alignment.

Where work requires access aloft, mast removal or lifting equipment, we agree the working arrangements in advance. Any inspection findings that require further assessment or additional repairs are discussed before proceeding.

Each project begins with a review of your yacht’s rig, the reported problems and the available maintenance history. We define the scope, prepare a quotation and agree the materials and schedule before starting. Additional work and costs are submitted for approval before proceeding.

After completing the work, we check the serviced components and relevant mechanisms for correct operation within the agreed scope. Whether you need routine maintenance, a targeted repair or rigging replacement as part of a refit, our team plans the work around your yacht’s requirements.
